Le Sénat doit voter ce jeudi une loi ouvrant la protection d'une foule de professions. Le texte permet aux fédérations d'introduire un dossier en ce sens.

Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI)
Diana Wallis Member of the European Parliament and President of the UK based Institute of Translation and Interpreting is today (27th September 2005) being awarded the first Honorary Member of the newly formed Chartered Institute of Linguists. The award takes place in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in London, England and the Chartered Institute's patron His Royal Highness Prince Michael of Kent will present the award.

Projet de loi-cadre pour le port du titre professionnel |

Ce vendredi 1er juillet, le Conseil des ministres a approuvé un projet
de loi-cadre sur le port du titre professionnel d'une profession
intellectuelle prestataire de services. La future loi pourrait
intéresser des professions aussi différentes que architecte
d'intérieur, expert automobile ou traducteur-interprète.
